Awake,Arise-Make Mrs Sonia Gandhi and her devotees accountable

According to the reply given under RTI Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s official residence 10 Janpath has consumed electricity worth more than Rs seven lakhs in the last 3 years. Of this she had to pay only a paltry sum of 9 thousand for three years and the rest was paid by the Lok Sabha Secretariat-which means the tax payers have footed her bill.

Poor Mrs Sonia Gandhi-the most powerful woman in the world uses only 7.47 lakhs rupees worth of electricity power for three years. We should not grudge her that! The most powerful woman in the world’s residence consumes 7.47 lakh worth of power. That’s peanuts, because she pays only 9 thousand rupees when ordinary person like me pay more than 15 thousand rupees for electricity per year. Poor Sonia Gandhi-her renunciation is apparent. She has no money, no house, no water connection, no phone connections but manages to keep the country under her control. Is that not a miracle? The Pope has already made a note of it and will soon canonize her-the miracle maker for the Indian poor. And her sycophants fall before her and remain adhered in that prostrate posture till their number comes up in her lottery box shake for fixing their positions. ‘Now that you have reposed faith in me be patient’. I am the Empress and Empresses do not follow a time bound plan but acts on their whims and fancies.

Need to pity Sonia Gandhi she has no bank balance and in her affidavit stated that she borrowed money from her daughter. So where does that lead us to-a secret pact-a secret chamber all in the name of renunciation? Her renunciation has cost the nation in crores. And as for her it cost nothing.

She comes under the General pool-what does that mean? As a MP she should come only under the MP’s pool and all her bills above the allowed ceiling must be paid by her or her party. How does the accommodation of Mrs Sonia Gandhi come under the Directorate of Estates, Ministry of Urban Development? She is answerable to the people for whom she is championing Food security. A pittance of a 100 days work per household and that has been claimed as the most effective and extensive anti hunger program in the world. But a close analysis will reveal that it means hardly 20 days of work for a household of five members. This is one of her magic wands by which her son claims that the Congress under his mother’s leadership is pro-poor and the rest of the non Congress governments are anti-poor. It is this amount that he claims of ‘we’ having given for the upliftment of the poor” Who is this ‘we’. Is it the Congress Party money? They enjoy all the luxuries of life at the cost of the people’s hard earned money. Then they throw crumbs again from the taxpayers’ monies and claim that the Congress-especially Mrs Sonia Gandhi is pro-poor. We have to believe it. The Congressmen and women are glued to the ground in prostration and hence cannot see, cannot hear or don’t want to but waits for the magic number to be announced by Mrs Sonia Gandhi. What a ridiculous position and we call this democracy.

Now to get back to the no water, no phone, no car, no bank balance and this renunciator-champion of the poor has already been ticked by the Pope, it is only a matter of time when Vatican will canonize her. This will be a special case where canonization will be affected during the life time of the person.

Whom is Mrs Sonia Gandhi and her coterie trying to hoodwink? How long is this drama going to be enacted? Crumbs for the people and the cake for me-a little primary health centre for the people but the best medical services for me, pavements for the people but No 10 Janpath  worth 300 crores for me-and that too for nothing. No electricity for the people but a 7.47 lakh worth of consumption of electricity for me, for the no house person, this and more and the drama goes on.

Awake and Arise and make Mrs Sonia Gandhi accountable for the loot of the money of the poor-closely and secretively channelised through the various government departments. St Sonia Gandhi and all devotees must stand in the people’s court and be made answerable for the squandering of the Poor’s money-the sweat and blood of people of this nation.

But madam.. who can bring them accountable.. In any nation it is the media which espouses the national cause. but the media are tools for the sonia clan to divert any issue..

You are right Senthil. The media has to expose. Here the Congress and the corrupt have the media as their handmaids. But there is also another possible-a people’s movement-which can slolwy but steadily gather momentum.Like a ripple that grows in ever widening circles people can do it.A commitment and a patritotism-no matter the consequence must make young people-old too, come forward and speak up.Eternal vigilance is the price for democracy. All the best to you Senthil.

The above link leads on to the article inH industhan times for which Ma’am has written a good ,hard-hitting article. The news has only two comments so far on the site.Other news sites also carry few more comments only, amongst them questioning the rationale behind such RTI request and the papers publishing them. All these goes on to show the kind of apathy that is pervading on the Indian mind .It seems like a blanket that is suffocating weven the brave ones who question. What has happened to our spirit as Indians. It seems to have been swamped by the pseudo secular media, intellectuals who defend the Arundhathi Roys more than questioning Sonias of our Country.
Another Question: If The party leader is paying so much bill for only electricity what of the other services, and the other people in the party who are also holding Office.

Thank you Sita-the fact is the party leader-to be specific is not paying -all her bills are being paid by the poor Indians and she is championing the cause of Food security. Is that not a ridiclous-game.One side you use their money and on the other side you pretend to be pro-poor.If each one pays each one’s bill let it come up to any amount we are not bothered. You and I -ordinary citizens are paying for everything why should this great powerful woman of the globe not pay her Power bill?As you have pointed out how many such services then are being footed by the taxpayer. And her son is also livibng in No 10 Janpath-goes about talking of change-let them change first and not fleece the poor.Loving wishes.

Oh Ma’am, thanks for pointing out my mistake. I had meant if the Party leader is getting a bill for E.B alone that is this high, what about the other services, and other functionaries’ etc. I had realised that she is paying only Rs.9000/- ,.but was careless in writting.
Today there was a hard hitting piece on the way Indian Press seem to worship Sonia in New Indian Express [ Too bad very few people are able to express such an opinion. I wonder if he was able to get it published because he is a westerner, which is sad [on the one hand],in that we common Indians could not get ourselves heard, and need to take help from outsiders to ask 5tough questions. On the other hand ,I am grateful that India still has such friends who are articulate and understanding of her plight to stand up for her.

The above comment well articulated. What has happened to us Indians? The simple truth si that we havebecome thick skinned.Heraing of scams day in and day out-we are fed up.The mind begins to block out things which we cannot rectify and what cannot be cured must be endured.Well the netas are there to fleece Indians and Indians have always been exploited-if it was by the foriegners now it is by our own Indians. If in another country such treason aginst one’s country would have been met with bullets-shoot on the spot orders. But here our politicians are busy garnering votes through amassing money. They one thought is how to safeguard their amassed wealth. As for Mrs Sonia Gandhi she and her party are defenders of the corrupt-not only corrupt by themselves. The party can be awared the Noble prize for smooth saling to the first place in corruption. And what oration and vehemence in defending the corrupt.Birds of a feather flock together. At times I feel that we are punished for no sin of ours and at times I feel depressed-when are we going to be freed of these corrupt politicians-wolves in sheep’s clothes?

Nakli Gandhi Bharat Choro. These fake Gandhis have done absolutely nothing to prove their worth anywhere. Be it work, be it home. Indians, arise….India is our only land where we can be called free. All indians ‘UNITE’

    • 8. hilda raja  |  November 13, 2010 at 9:19 am

I wish your call comes true. These Gandhis have wrough enough of misery-but all the time pretendign that they are doing goodThats the biggest deception.Guillible people fall for them-Rahul Gandhi goes about asking for change-what change does he want when he and his mother does not change. With what hard work did he become the General Secretary of the Partry and he sits at the High table along with the PM and his mother during the dinner given for Obama. All the preaching is for others. They enjoy eveything without shedding a drop of sweat at the cost of the poor Indian blood and sweat. And for everything they do nto shell out a pie. While the poor have to pay through their hard work and struggle-here they give in No 10 Janpth-worth more than 300 crores-do not pay for their electricity,water,rental,-this is only the tip of the ice berg.Is there a greater crime than this?
