Kapil Sibal-the notorious blabberer is a confused person
It seems a tragedy that we have a Human Resource Minister who cannot think straight-see straight and who thinks that this nation is a fools’ nation. The Supreme Court cancels 12 G licenses and directly indicts Adhimuthu Raja for gifting away national assets at throwaway prices. It not only quashed the grant of UAS licenses but declared it illegal. Yet Kapil Sibal finds that the SC’s verdict is no indictment of the UPA but of the NDA.Is he suffering from some sort of a schizophrenia. Nay it is still worse. He seems to suffer from an utterly confused mind and outlook.
Dr Swamy had taken the UPA to court but not the NDA. The case is against the UPA and the verdict is against the UPA governance with A.Raja indicted. A Raja is a small player. What is the role of P.Chidambaram and the Prime Minister in this? It is not the Supreme court which should indict the Prime Minister and the UPA but the nation should. After all one of the Cabinet ministers had gifted away the national asset at throwaway prices. His blatant disregard to stand by his solemn promise to safeguard the interest of the nation has been violated and where does the Prime Minister stand in this? He too stands equally if not more guilty When one of his cabinet ministers had allowed this loot. It was the duty of the Prime Minister to stand against it and to uphold the sanctity of his stewardship. He failed in this because he wanted to continue in power. He did not want to displease a powerful ally. Manmohan Singh failed miserably in upholding his oath to function without fear or favor.
If Kapil Sibal thinks that the Supreme Court’s indictment is against the NDA policy then the SC should have made it clear that the policy alone is being scrapped. Kapil Sibal must know that the UPA cannot hide behind the NDA’s policy. If the NDA also looted the public exchequer then it is free to file a case against it. Why had the Congress not as an Opposition opposed the policy of the NDA then? Why had it followed the same policy? Why selectively this policy and not other policies of the NDA. Is it not shameless to say that it followed the NDA’s policy? Had you no policy of your own? Granted that the policy during the NDA’s period was faulty why did the Congress follow it? What prevented persons like Kapil Sibal to expose the NDA’s policy? Instead it safely follows it and allows A.Raja to gift ‘national asset at throwaway prices’.
It is the same Kapil Sibal who asserted that the nation had not suffered any loss. That statement of his has been busted. What has he to say to that? Prices and a policy which may have been right in 2001 cannot be right and legal in 2007 when the volume and the concentration of the Spectrum had manifold increased. The verdict clearly states that the 2G Spectrum allocation of 2008 is a scam and quashed the whole deal of 12 UAS licenses. Kapil Sibal may want to just blabber something for the sake of blabbering but he must know that the people of this country has common sense. Even the first come first served policy was tampered and manipulated by the UPA so it is not the same as the NDA’s policy of 2001.
To have Kapil Sibal in the council of ministers and to have him as a Human Resource minister is dangerous for the country. He is a typical example of a person who gives wrong advice to the Prime Minister. And the later with no time to apply his mind simply accepts the blabbering of KS. This is a revelation namely of the type of personalities who run the UPA government .Keep denying and keep making sound bytes-as though these will save their ignominy and their sins of violation and deception. It is a frightening proposition to have men like Kapil Sibal at the helm of affairs. Earlier I had scripted on the forked tongued Congress. Now it is clear that the Congress is not only forked tongued but consists of persons with confused state of minds and visions. Their place is not in the cabinet but somewhere else.
God save my country

    Dear Madam,
Spot on. A great analysis. Hats off to you. KS as a legal expert knows but he wants to shout from the rooftop to defame NDA which I feel is not possible at this time.

Thank you Ram.Someone must put KS in his place. He is going too far and thinks that because he a cabinet minister he can get away with falsehoods and misinterpret the SC’s verdict when he is a lawyer himself. Why do we have such persons in the Cabinet at all.His zero loss has exposed his falsehood. All the best to you

    Dear Dr Hilda Raja,
You know some people, unless they are told in plain words, do NOT understand that they are subjected to adverse remarks. Though a lawyer, our KS unfortunately belongs to this category. He has to be told in plain words, “get out!” to exit. Until the learned judges come to the conclusion that enough is enough and declare in desperation, “WE indict you”, he would never understand. You have to bear with him. Is he not the expert mathematiician who said there was zero loss to the public exchequer in the 2G deal? Leave him to his own pet theories and tell us more about the situation and political atmosphere in Gujarath, as you have been the person right on the spot and an unbiased observer and commentator. WE are all waiting for the day when Sri Modi leads the entire nation and pulls it from the present mess. I s there hope for the fullfilment of this ambition?

Thank you Malarmannan-you have a philospohical streak!Yes better to leave KS to his nonsense but he is Cabinet minister and is under oath to do what it honable and not deceive the nation. But he goes on with his nonsensical blunders and misinterpretationsThis should not be allowed.
Yes I too fervently hope that Modi will lead the nation.India will become first class country. But look at the persecution that is aimed at himthe harrassment of him and the police force. As though there are no faked attacks-as though there are no riots and as though Gujarat riots of 2002 was the first of its kind. The Congress forgets that soon after Indira Gandhi’s assassination in three days it supervised the genocide of Sikhs in thousands. Why has the nation forgotten that. Then we are told that we should move ahead-but in Gujarat riots why this fixation?
Thank you for your positive comments.Regards.HR

    Dear Dr .,
If possible, start a reggular column as Gujarath news letter. I can translate it into Tamil and circulate it to the Tamil print medium here. Though most of the press are biased, let us see whether any of them come forward to use it.

Thank you for your offer.Shall try.But you know age is getting at me and I have to lookafter my aged husband.I do all the cooking and with visitors and the mails I really am kept busy.Your suggestion is good and also very wise because outside this State people have a different idea of Modi-this because of the media propaganda. There is a Gujarat chat which I shall send you. There invariably all about Modi comes.Similarly his blog gives his perception-his deeds and his aspirations.I shall put you in touch with his chief IT officer who can really help you with inputs. What we want is the spread of Modi’s good administration.Shall get back to you through the blog because I do not have your email.May your tribe increase.

Thank you, Dr Hilda, for your reassuring words. I wish your husband and you a healthy and active, long life as such persons’ contiribu- tion to the public life of the nation is most important in the present context. Though I am disappointed on hearing your handicaps in complying with my request, as yours is a pwewrful, convincing presentstion coming from an unbiased person, It would be a nice idea if you could put me on to the right persons. I am an English-Tamil bilingual journalist with over 45 years of standing having lived in different parts of Bharath with various leading news papers and magazines. This I mention so that you would be able to give an idea about me while putting me on to the right persons dealing with Gujarath affairs. My id is:

Mam, what u say is true. but i do believe the famous adage,” POWER CORRUPTS, ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY” holds good , irrepsective of the party in power or the timeline…. u can see it in UP, AP,TN, IOC aka suresh kalmadi…. sad but true and unfortunately no escape.. we as a people have failed miserably at the ballot box.. i do believe we really need a la MAO/ hitler/ mustafa kemel pasha to correct this abnoxious aberration in these difficult times….

i still alos believe”THAT AS A RULE, EVERY MAN OR A WOMAN.. IS A FOOL. WHEN IT IS HOT, HE/SHE WANTS IT COOL.. WHEN IT IS CCOL, HE/SHE WANTS IT HOT… ALWAYS, ALWAYS WANTING WHAT IS NOT, N WHAT IS NOT HIS/HERS..” coveting, greed……avarice…. this is the age of kaliyug….not surprisd either at what KS,MS,AR, LKA say or do!!!! God save our India!

Thank you Dr Janaki-you have said it.Yes it the kaliyug. But should the forces of good not over take those of the evil?Let us try our bit-thats my policy.Instead of cursing the darkness let us light one candle. But it simply fails my comprehension of the stupidity of those at the helm of affairs. How could India have such persons on the top.And we have one Italian woman with only one hidden agenda-you know what it is.MMS is not all that innocent as he wants us to believe. If a peon fails in his duty or sleeps during his working hours he is sacked and we have a PM telling us that he did niot apply his mind-that it was error of judgment. But he seems to be avarice too-for the PM’s gaddi.Any self respecting man would have put in his papers long ago instead of being a robot with the remote control with an Italian.
All the best to you Dr Janaki.

Jana, While I accept that power, absolute power & the fear of losing it may corrupt people i wouldn’t wish for a Hitler or a Mao as a remedy .Then it will be a case of medicine being 100X more toxic than the illness.Yes we have a populace that behave more like sheep than as Thinking Human beings.we also have a propaganda machinery[which is what most of our media is] that seems to want to lull people into a kind of thinking that’s not safe for them &the country.what needs to be promoted is the kind of discussion we see on the web in real life.It seems as though everyone knows whats going on but no one wants to neither bell the cat nor even to call out that the emperor has no clothes.were we able to have this kind of discussion face to face , without fear of attack from powers that be,then there would be much more to hope for. Now we have to work with what we have & really speaks out at least here on the ‘net.giving is no option.though we don’t have much,as long as we have even a glimmer of hope, there’s a chance for our country.Though I agree,Divine Providence would be a big boost.but as Shankara says,’TatTvam Asi'[ that thou art]So we have to believe in the divinity in ourselves & work towards the future.

Very well and rightly said. It is time media stopped taking KS seriously. He is a faithful servant of his high command who thinks he is firefighting the situation but always lands up in uttering complete nonsense, unlike Pranab da who is much more matured in his response and handling of situations.

It was very disappointing and depressing to note the trial court verdict on PC. All the more angry listening to KS’s reponse that Dr.Swamy can go and appeal to even God. This shows the level of arrogance this moron has due to being in power.

It is very disturbing to know that India is governed by these scoundrels who have absolutely no regard for common citizens and their problems. But people like Anna hazare and Dr.Swamy provide hopes.

Reading comments of Dr. Hilda Raja and others on the worth or worthlessness of Kapil Sibal has shown me a flicker of ray that there are enough people around who can see through the real character of this ‘character.’ Why only KS, what good can be said about MMS. An epitome of servility. Than you have MS Aiyer and great PC. At no point of time, in India`s independent history, the country seems to have been represented by such a lot of desperados. All out to loot the country and spread the hate amongst various sections/ denominations of Indian public.Having lost power, they have lost, what ever they had in name of their heads, if they at all had any.Rahul riding three on a two wheelar without number plate and without helmet inciting the farmers at Mandsaur. Sandeep Dixit forgot to liken the scene to ‘sadak ka goonda’. Shankutla Khatik assaulting the policeman in uniform and inciting the farmers, nay,her party workers to burn down the police station.Jyoti Scindia`s act of shielding her was in the interest of the partymen hence justified
Lately there was a conclave/ panel discussion of disgruntled, desperate and obsolete human fossiles on NDTV to defend defaulter channel.
I feel if present administrative dispensation holds forth and acts with probity, there is nothing to fear. There is need to check its loose canons. Make a right choice for next Prez and not get influenced by RSS or the old guard et el. A new morning shall down and a sun will rise. Putrid remanants of UPA shall go to the vile dust from whence they sprung. Suraj Dalal
